About Me

I am a wife, mother, creative, artistic woman. I am married to a wonderful man, Peter, to whom I have been married to for 28 years. We have four amazing children, three boys and one girl. Our boys are now young men, at various stages in life. Our daughter is now in high school and loves it. She balances out all the testosterone in the house.

I have been involved with music from the age of five. I started playing the piano, added the flute at the age of 10 and added the bassoon in high school. Singing only became a part of me when I went to Christ for the Nations, Institute in Dallas, Texas. Music is and will always be a huge part of who I am.

I was born in Puli, Taiwan, adopted by a military couple at the age of six months and moved to the United States just after I turned one years old. I have lived there for a good portion of my life until I moved to South Africa in 1990. I have lived there ever since.

I wrote a rough draft of my story ten years ago and I am busy re-editing it with the help of Elaine Broekeman from Audience of One Media. The book will be published in October 2019 with an EP of original music.

This is just the beginning and it’s never too late to begin your life purpose.

Enjoy the journey with me.

  1. I’ve read your whole blog – started last night and finished now (13:45). Not because I’m a slow reader (well that too, as I read to edit), but because I read on my BB. And of course had to stop and start.

Excellent read. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading more!

  2. Thanks Shane. As I feel, I type. I try to censor myself but not always easy! Blogging is the easier route for me to document and remember what happened in Brazil. When we’re home, I’ll still blog but more day-to-day random events.
