Last day….in Istanbul

We’ve had some good laughs, met some amazing people, ate a lot of food and walked too many kilometers to count over the past two weeks. I’ve had so many highlights such as Barcelona and Gaudi AND Sagrada Familia. Absolutely loved Cagliari. Naples was fun but Pompeii awesome and Rome was fantastic. We had so much fun in Florence with Fabian and Charlene. The surprise was Mallorca. Istanbul has been educational and so much history. All in all, this trip will never be forgotten and my husband was brilliant in.planning this trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

Our cruise was awesome and I’d definitely do an NCL cruise again. Do yourself a favor and save up to do a cruise. It’s well.worth it… today, we locked our suitcases up, had breakfast on the terrace, went back to get our suitcases to bring them downstairs to reception. We then decided to try and find the old cisterns which are around the city. We eventually do 2nd one but it was 20TL per person so we opted to walk around the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar. It was snowing but we had fun walking around in it. Our feet are weary. We walked back to the hotel and now we are relaxing before we walk to the T1.

We’re headed back to South Africa. Whoo hoo.
